How it works

Short version: we do not store anything. Your cards live in your own browser, and Export is how you keep them safe or move them.

Where your cards are kept

Everything you make (cards, settings and the images you add) is saved only in the browser you are using, on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and there are no accounts.
That means we cannot see your cards, and we cannot recover them for you either.
Your cards will be gone if you clear your browsing data or site data, use a private/incognito window, or switch to another browser or device. Some browsers also clear storage for sites you have not visited in a while.

Export (top right of the card maker) downloads one file named like bloodbowl-cards-2026-09-20.json.
That single file contains every card, your print settings and all the images you added, including a custom card-back logo.
Export after every session where you changed something you would hate to redo. Keep the file anywhere you like: your computer, a cloud drive, an email to yourself.

Import loads an exported file back in. Use it to restore after clearing your browser, or to move your cards to another computer or browser.
Import replaces the cards currently in the maker with the ones in the file (it asks first). It does not merge. If you want to keep what is on screen, Export it before you Import.
An export file is plain JSON. You can share it with a league mate so they get the same cards, artwork included.

The site is free and provided as is, with no guarantee that it is always available or that every number is right. Stats and rules summaries come from comparing community sources; where they disagree the entry is flagged. The rulebook is always the authority.
Cards you make are for your own personal, non-commercial use at the table. Do not sell them.
You are responsible for the images you add. Only use artwork you have the right to use. We never see or host it.
